MrSnuggy Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 Hey guys, Good news i got 10.5.8 on my Acer Aspire 5100 with iDeneb 1.4 (I belive) Everything is working great, expect graphics, i got the kext that lets me have the normal 1280x800 screen res, i just need hardware support, moving windows across the screen ect is very sluggish, and i can't use coverflow on iTunes or use a nice screensaver. Any news on how i can go about adding hardware support on my x200? i hear people have been able to do it, by editing a diffrent kext, but i'm kinnda new to this so if any of you can help me out that would be great, the device ID is 000x5975 Thanks everyone! have a great day! errandwolfe Posted April 23, 2010 Share Posted April 23, 2010 To the best of my knowledge, no one has gotten QE/CI to work on the ATI x200 GPU. Considering how this is about a 5 year old GPU and despite high demand no one ever got it working, would say you are pretty much out of luck.
