Hi everbody,

I have installed Mac OS X 10.4.6 (HoTiSO). Runing well (I'm using Mac OS when post this topic). But I have some problem, please help to resolve them :D

1. My mainboard is: Asus P5LD2-VM with Realtek HD Audio ALC882. How to install driver for it??? (No built-in audio detected on Mac OS X)

2. How can I update to Mac OS X 10.4.7? (I have tried update, but Mac not responding and then I must reinstall Mac :( )

3. Sometimes, when I runing Mac OS X, all application and OS not responding, I must restart it. How to resolve it?

4. I cannot boot into Mac OS X without any parameter, I must use -x parameter. How to set default to use -x ?

Thank you so much!!!

I have the same mobo as you do and everything works on it except input audio. I would suggest you get the OSX 10.4.6(Jas) prepatched dvd and installed OSX.

You need to download OSX 10.4.7 intel update from one of the torrent sites. Sorry can't post link. You can't use automatic update from apple to updated tiger. You can however use the automatic apple update on pretty much everything else as far I know. I have done for all the iLife apps problem.

What type of CPU are you running? To OSX run smooth you really need to have a CPU that has SSE2 and SSE3. Get CPU-z and check your CPU out.

If you use a prepatched dvd and follow everything to a "T", when it comes to rebooting you should get the grey Apple screen and automatically boot into OSX.

Good luck,

Chevy
