Help for first installation!

Hi to all,

 

before I begin a new topic about the first installation of iDeneb (in my case iDeneb v1.6) I search for a long time on line, on all the forum that talk about it, for a guide for my specific laptop.

- HP Pavilion dv6-1060el

I'm writing about my specific computer just because all the guides, found in internet, don't work (or I have found something different from the example machine).

 

Some friends told to set some driver, the last installation was done with this setting:

* iDeneb essential system

* Kernel: voodoo

* bootloader: chameleon v2

* Network: RTL8169/8111

* Fix: - ICH fix

- Jmicron fix

- Seatbel fix

- CPUs=1

* Video: nVinject 512

 

All the time the installation finished with a success result. But when the machine rebooted, it goes in "kernel panic".

I tried and I tried, I think that I have installed a thousand times this iDeneb on my laptop!

What am I doing wrong?

Can someone give me an hand?

I hope so, because I really need it.

What is your MoBoard part? Your video card? These are very important to be able o install a RETAIL MacOS X DVD and be able to upgrade to latest version.
