Umbrella
So a few years ago i got the JaS 10.4.8 i think it was and installed it on my PC with no problem at all. Since there were various compatibility issues and it being fairly limited i switched back to XP. Now a few years later i decide i want to give Osx86 another go so i download and burn 10.6.2 (about 3 different versions so far) and all of them give me the same error "Still waiting for root device" Here is my system info, will i be able to run this fine do you think? If the picture is not displayed for whatever reason i've uploaded one also Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/215471-installed-1048-jas-fine-but-1062-says-still-waiting-for-root-device/ Share on other sites

richtig
I'm guessing that there's no AHCI option in the bios, which SL requires, unless you perform some workarounds. Easier to go with an Intel Chipset board that includes Raid/AHCI for running SL.
