Magic Mouse: Using Ordinary Non Lithium, Non Alkaline Non-Rechargeable Battery?

Hi. Could you use ordinary carbon battery for the Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard? The one that's not alkaline, nor lithium (ion) or rechargeable? Unless Apple updates the firmware for the Magic Mouse, it'd be better to buy a fast charger but the downside is the voltage of rechargeables and the charge goes down if you store it. Any further recommendations on rechargeables and fast chargers? Thanks in advance. Gbu.
