Reinstall and now no QE/CI - tried everything!

I have had several totally successful installs of Leo and Snow, but this problem has me stumped.

I use Leo as a backup for my Snow install just in case something goes wrong. (Both on separate HDs).

Everything was working fine for months on my Leo install including QE/CI. The other day, I had to reinstall Leo because I updated to 10.5.8 which caused me a problem.

Now, I just cannot get QI/CE to work on my GTX 285.

I've tried everything. I've tried:

1) graphics enabler set to y and n in my Boot.plist. (Worked OK before set to y.)

2) put graphics string into Boot.plist.

3) tried nvenabler

4) tried putting Device ID into all the relevant GeForce and Nv kexts.

5) tried natit

etc. etc.

Previously, I only had to install netkas' nvidia injector to get QE/CI to work.

When I go to system profiler, it says unknown nvidia card, yet the GTX 285 1024Mb shows up in a verbose boot.

Can anyone please help here as I have now reinstalled about 12 times trying to get this to work!

 

Well, after a day and a half of trying, I finally got it working by installing the retail nvidia drivers and netkas injector.
