osmthi
Hi all, I just installed OSX86 (finally!) and everything works great, but I have a question. Whenever booting into Mac, the "startup" screen is just a bunch of white text against a black screen, and then goes into the login screen. To get the ultimate "feel" of OSX, is there any way I can just have the regular startup screen (Apple logo, spinny thing) to work everytime I boot? If this helps, I'm dual booting Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.4.4 on a Toshiba Satellite A55-S106. Thanks for the help! Rammjet
In Boot.plist, set "Quiet boot" to "yes" http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?s=...st&p=138349 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21507-how-to-get-regular-startup-screen-instead-of-text-all-over-the-place/#findComment-141939 Share on other sites
eLMafUDd
Or, in com.apple.boot.plist delete "-v" under kernal flags.
