Hey all,

So I am a little confused....

I have a:

ep43-ud3l running Snow Leopard 10.6.3

Intel e8500

nv GeForce 9600 GT

Audio works by using LegacyHDA

Networking works with what I think is RealtekR1000SL, although in the About This Mac, it reports it as using the AppleRTL8169Ethernet.kext

I have Cartri's BIOS working seemingly just fine. I understood from the manual that I was to delete the DSDT.aml...

"6.3 Delete your dsdt.aml file wherever it is."

Now to be honest, I just renamed it. ;)

I am trying to solve three problems.

1) I get a cmos checksum error every time I reboot. This is why I installed the Cartri BIOS to begin with.

2) No Sleep. This is also why I installed Cartri.

3) And lastly, no 64-bit mode.

The only extensions that are not 64-Bit Intel are:

bsdkernel6.0

IOKit6.0

Libkern6.0

Mach6.0

System6.0

Do I still need a DSDT.aml file? Do I still need SleepEnablerSL?

I would appreciate anyone's thoughts.

p.s. Love my hackentoshes.

I have a g41m-es2l that totally works great.

I also have an old IBM T41

and a newer lenovo x61

Thanks to everyone for putting this all together. This is truly amazing stuff!!
