I'm having an odd sleep issue. I just updated to 10.6.3 from 10.6.2 (although I noticed this issue existed before I updated), but whenever I go to sleep my computer, it doesn't actually go to sleep when I click "Sleep". There is a lag time of ~30 seconds (sometimes less) after I click "Sleep" (during which I can use the computer normally), and then the computer finally goes to sleep. It wakes perfectly.

Any ideas? It could be an intermittent process that lags the computer as it closes when I try to sleep, but how would I go about identifying which process is the culprit?

Machine specs are in sig.

Thanks!

EDIT: It hasn't always done this, but I'm not sure exactly what I changed around the time it started, because I don't remember when it started happening exactly.

EDIT2: Thanks to Beerkex'd, I found out that Weatherbug was the issue. I saw this in the kernel log:

Apr 7 18:08:17 John-Doe's-Mac-Pro kernel[0]: PM notification timeout (pid 254, WeatherBug Alert)

Ah thanks, I checked the kernel log and found that Weatherbug was the issue. I used to use Meteorologist (I think that's what it was called), but it stopped working when the weather site updated the format of their feeds, and hadn't been updated in a long time.

Solved!
