Dr Wu
Hello all. Long time Mac user , but I moved to a Vaio and am interested in a dual boot Ubuntu/OSX system that will be stable . I am a recording engineer , and need a stable system. It looks as though 10.4.3 ISO is my best bet .I just need some input from you experienced Hackintosh fanatic's . Any help appreciated. Neonkoala
I found after trialling versions 10.4.1, 10.4.3 and 10.4.6 on my dell that 10.4.6 was the easiest to install - no stability problems and all the tweaks I had to manually apply in previous versions were included on the patched install DVD, only sound doesn't work (never has done though until sigmatel project is finished). So try the prepatched 10.4.6 disc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21493-easiest-intel86osx-install/#findComment-142804 Share on other sites

Rockett
I agree - if you read the guides 10.4.6 is the easiest to install. The 10.4.7 update is a case of download, click, install.
