EDIT: got the system to read the smbios.plist

adding SMbusspeed

7200

was making it unreadable

does anyone know how to change the way the system sees the FSB speed?

It was being read a few days ago, then i accidentally deleted my com.apple.boot.plist and had to build that up from scratch from what i remembered. I think that might have triggered it

this is what my com.apple.boot.plist reads

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>DropSSDT</key>
<string>yes</string>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>arch=x86_64</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>1</string>
<key>Graphics Enabler</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>

I'd like to know the same thing. See here: http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php?topic=1146.0

I think that provides the answer but I'm new to this and not sure. If anyone can help I think my FSB is not being read because I used to have to use a SMBios with 800fsb locked. Currently my FSB is 738mhz and should be 800mhz
