I am really interested in get OSX to run on my PC... but as soon as I boot off a OS X dvd I get this message / memory allocation error (0xdeadbeaf, 0x0) and then my PC locks up I have no idea what this means... Can anyone help me... I have seen alot of of you with OS X working on AMD's but i cant find a good installation guide for AMD's only ones for intel My PC spec CPU: AMD Athlon X2 3800+ (Machester S939) Motherboard & chipset: ASUS A8N32-Sli Deluxe, nVidia nForce4 SLI X16, AMD Hammer RAM: 256MB x 4 (1GB) Graphic Card: ASUS EN7800GT Extreme, nVidia GeForce 7800 GT Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
free30 Posted July 8, 2006 Share Posted July 8, 2006 looks like a memory allocation error. Um have you rum a memory check? Ever had any similar problems? Guess your cpu's sse3 or 2.
