Beerkex'd
Try CPUInjector.kext http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=189562 Read everything, especially make sure info.plist inside contains <key>SMcputype</key> <string>1281</string> Before installing it. Or you can use AsereBLN 1.1.9 which has built-in CPU detection and much more: http://www.efixusers.com/showthread.php?t=644 If you're already using Chameleon 2.0 RC4 or derivative, simply replace the 'boot' file. Otherwise the installation/upgrade procedure is the same as when installing Chameleon normally. Good luck. Good luck. thanks for your reply. i tried both procedures ended up messing up my system.... i could not give flag commands on startup and my obvious wrong doing caused the system to restart constantly. i then reinstalled iDeneb 10.5.6 on the messed up partition and found the kext that was responsible for the error. cos of my noobishness i should take the time to get things like your guide to work though but since i am still new with this... this will probably take a while cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/214608-activity-monitor/#findComment-1442250 Share on other sites
