-†Krad†-
Hi guys, whenever I try to load the iAtkos v7 disk in order to install OSX, I can boot up the disk, but at the apple logo I get a kernel panic error. I have tried different distros and the same thing happens. Also when I boot in verbose mode (-v) I get an error saying: Ebios read error: error 0xbb Block 5890512 Sectors 65 I have searched google, and no one seems to have the exact same problem as me. I found something similar, but the originating problem was different. I also tried messing around in the bios, but also to no avail. I posted an image of the error below. Does anyone know the problem? Thanks BTW I have a dell m1330 in case you didn't notice in the topic, and all the specs are in my sig. Krishna21
So I'm assuming I'll have to get a 10.6 retail disk Idk. I just did what you couldn't {apparently} do. Google. But a fresh new pack of DVD-RW's, burn with IMGBurn at 4x speed. -†Krad†-
Well, I did find that page, but seeing as it had nothing to do with my problem, I dismissed it (I didn't feel like doing a vanilla install). Also, my dvd is fine. I burned it on a new verbatim dvd+r at 4x with imgburn. The strange thing is that none of the three distros I tried "worked". iAtkos gave me this error. iPC had the same problem and iDeneb would get stuck at the apple load screen. However, I can confirm that they work on another computer (including iAtkos). Could the issue have something to do with Windows 7? I think I might try to do a fresh install at this point.
