Hello... I used to have a pretty much working computer (oddly I couldnt get my computers sound driver working but the last time I made an hackintosh it worked fine when it had 10.6.2. so I tought... why not update to 10.6.2?) ...I had 10.6 on my hackintosh... after the update, when the macintosh loads up I see the log in screen but I cannot move my mouse or anything (its not even lit!) ... any help?the USB ports dont function in mac... works fine with windows tho.

EDIT:I think it updated to 10.6.3. :/

thanks.

From the sound of things I'm having a similar problem. Let me know if that's the case, becuase I'd really like to know the solution.

This actually just started for me today. Earlier today I booted into Win7 (on a separate hard drive - it works fine BTW), installed an app and updated my Nvidia drivers. I then shut the machine down. A couple of hours later I got back and tried to boot into MacOS. Booting seemed to work fine, however, while I could move the mouse on screen, the computer acted as if it was locked up and was receiving no input from either mouse or keyboard (with the exception of the mouse movement). However, what's really weird is that I could log in via LogMeIn.com and control the machine remotely just fine, without any problems.

I've tried several things. I rolled back by bios to FD from FE, tried rebuilding the kext cache, tried making sure my Extra kexts were all the most recent verions, but nothing seems to work. The problems seems to be some combination of hardware/software since it also seems to apply to my SnowLeopard install flash drive, which hasn't been changed since I created it.

Does anyone have an idea as to the problem or how I might fix it?

FYI, I constructed my machine identically to the popular LifeHacker build and got it running (seemingly) just fine with 10.6.3 a week or so ago.

Hey Guys,

yesterday I finally managed to get Snow Leopard 10.6.2 running on my Sony Vaio VPCCW2S1E. I used Hazards Snow Leopard 10.6.0 - 10.6.2 Image and installed the update to 10.6.2. But, unfortunately my USB Ports don't work correctly. If I plug my iPhone, the phone starts to charge the Battery, but OSX doesn't show up it in the finder.

I also tried several USB flash drives, none of them worked...

Can somebody please help me?
