iMac i7: Do the Magic Mouse and Wireless Keyboard Turn Off When Mac Shuts Down?

Hi. When you shut down the iMac will the wireless keyboard and wireless Magic Mouse also turn off or you have to manually turn off both (hold 4 seconds on the keyboard and off switch for the mouse)? Thanks in advance.
