wellenreiter86
Hello, i just updated my Vanilla installation of SL with the ComboUpdate 10.6.2 and now i get an "Version mis-match between Kernel and CPU" Then there is some Backtrace.... Kernel Extensions in backtrace ... sk.triaxis.kext.SleepEnabler(1.0.0) ....-> Kernel Version: Darwin Kernel Version 10.2.0 There was no Sleepenabler.kext in /S/L/E ... and i used netcas' AppleInterlCpu disabler. Any idea?
wellenreiter86
I forgot to check the E/E folder :-( There was the sleepenabler.kext I rebooted the dvd and used the terminal and an usb stick to update sleepenabler.text from netcas. I repaired the permissions and reebot with "-f -v" Now I stuck at: "Sound assertion "0 != creatAudioEngines ( fPathMap_aDriver Instance )" failed in "/SourceCache/AppleHDA/AppleHD-179.1.4/AppleHDA/AppleHDADriver.cpp" at line 203 goto Exit. wellenreiter86
I reinstalled the whole system again and installed the comboupdate again. I deleted the sleepenabler.kext and installed the NullCPUPM.kext. Reboot and installed the comboupdate. No i got the same panic from the first post. wellenreiter86
I reinstalled the whole system now various times. Before the update, I deleted SleepEnabler.kext the /e/e and /s/l/e , installed the NullCPUPM.kext (from Netcas). Then I installed the comboupdate an reinstalled NullCPUPM.kext and the SleepEnabler.kext (v 10.6.2). After reboot I get a Kernel Panic, described above. I did the whole installation again but without reinstalling the new SleepEnabler.kext (v 10.6.2). Then the system stuck on reebot without an error message. What am I Doing Wrong? :-( /E/E contains: da--- 25.03.2010 10:02 fakesmc.kext da--- 25.03.2010 10:02 LegacyHDA.kext da--- 24.03.2010 13:54 NullCPUPowerManagement.kext da--- 25.03.2010 10:02 OpenHaltRestart.kext da--- 25.03.2010 10:02 PlatformUUID.kext d---- 24.03.2010 23:15 SleepEnabler.kext in S/L/E are no own Extensions. If you rebuild the whole system, do you use a patched DSDT.aml
