Hi everybody!

I have a very specific problem which noone else seems to have:-(

...my Hackintosh works like a charm, except that I don't have the ALC889a running, but I really don't care about that internal sound-thingy.

I work with Logic 9.02 and have to suffer from a very bad Latency, which is 11,5 ms @128kb buffer size.

I tried different soundcards, like an ESI Maya44 PCIx (20ms latency, original driver) a Presonus Firebox (11,5ms via CoreAudio) and do think that there is something wrong with the way my Hacky/every OSX86 handles audio. Any ideas anyone? with my original Apple I get a latency of 1,5-3 ms @128kb Buffersize. Way faster...

I try now for 3 weeks to get this fixed, but no success. Every help is appreciated:-)

Thanks in advance, sVendetta

Specs:

MB Gigabyte GA-G3-DS3R

Intel Q9650@2,83GHz

6GB Ram@1066MHz

2TB Disk

Iatkos 10.5.7 upgraded via iDeneb Combo Upgrade to 10.5.8

Voodoo9.7 Kernel

EDIT:

I installed the VoodooHDA Kext and now I have an even higher latency(14ms@128kb buffer) but onboard-audio in addition to my USB Soundinterface. Whats wrong with the audio-handling??? Even my Win XP runs with 7ms latency. Does really nobody have any idea???
