logo
I'll be the first to ask away. I recently built my hackintosh using a Core i7 920 and an ASUS P6T SE using an ATI Radeon 5970 HD video card. I'm using a monitor with a native 1920x1080 resolution. I cannot set the resolution to the monitor's native resolution. I've edited the com.apple.plist and set the GraphicsMode setting. I've tried every setting that I could google. Is there a kext I can use, maybe something for the Radeon 4xxx series that might work with my video card? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you! danyokeem
So I've been having issues with my EVGA 9800 gtx. Everything worked except the card. I installed NvEnabler, Natit, Nvinjector, nVidia darwin installer, and nVidia 9000 series driver v2, to try to get my video card to run. Now my computer gets stuck at the apple load screen with the spinning gear. I tried to boot in safemode with -x -f -x32 and my monitor would go to a blank screen. When i tried to boot with either -x or -f alone, I would get stuck at the load screen again. Is there a way to revert my files and kexts back to normal so I can boot again?
