gateway69
I recently tried out a distro for 10.6.2 (Hazard) which comes with quite a few options , I was able to get the system installed on my motherboard which supports Nforce 6 chipset, and my Q6600 cpu. When I tried to boot the first time, I guess the default was 64bit, it would complain about some nvidia ata kexts, and then eventually get to the part where it just sits and waits to mount root.. booting with -v32 arch=i386 booted the box up fine , any idea why the 64 bit mode wont boot up.. ? or how to debug the waiting for root to mount issue?
