I currently have OS X 10.5.8 (I'm not actually 100% on the .8 (could be .6)) installed on my external USB HDD. It works (it boots, that's really all I'm concerned about for now).

I've partitioned the external HDD in GUID with 3 partitions. They are as follows:

-(1)- OS X 10.5.8 iDeneb

-(2)- OS X 10.6.2 Hazard

-(3)- OS X 10.6.0 Retail Install Drive

The thing is, it boots into Leopard but when I try to boot into SL it just hangs at Darwin/x86 (Loading [Mach_Kernel]).

I have tried more than one method of booting SL. I have tried the Hazard distro., the retail copy (from USB drive), and the OS X 3.5 Universal version.

I have followed various guides trying to get this to work. Including installing it to a separate partition inside Leopard.

Any help?!
