An important discovery has been..discovered. Lol.

The kext. AppleNForceATA. Off of the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD. Most of the time when one installs OS X on a nForce 6xxx chipset, their SATA HDD is detected when SATA is set to AHCI, but their DVD Drive isn't, even though it is also SATA.

So, magically, while booting off of the Kalyway 10.5.2 DVD, in -f, I saw that it mentioned "Got boot device"..that means..IT DETECTED MY DVD DRIVE! SATA!

But I would've gone ahead with the installation, but the debugger called panic..but iDeneb 1.6 has a compatibe kernel. Except, it does not detect my SATA DVD Drive.

So..is there a way I could REPLACE the NForceATA kext on the iDENEB DVD with the one from the KALYWAY DVD? I could pull it off of the Kalyway DVD via TransMac..and some how..transfer it to iDeneb 1.6 replacing the current nForceATA?

I have access to a fully functional USB-Working Mac OS X VMWare Machine if I need it.

Please reply guys, THANKS
