-Bj
Well.. I've done this many times (Not this disk though, I had a 10.4.1 disk that worked flawlessly) and every time I install the OS, it installs just fine but after the install, it reboots, gets into the OS, set up everything no problem, then when I remove the DVD disk from the drive, the system WILL NOT BOOT. The error it comes up with is the (infamous) b0 Error and it just hangs there. The system will boot if I have hte DVD in the drive and I noticed that in the start up disk menu, there is only boot from DVD or network boot, nothing from a HDD boot which I believe that osx doesn't know it has it installed in the HDD already? Or the darwin boot menu is broken or not installed? or what... I don't like the fact I need the disk to boot... but after the boot, it runs fine without the disk and all that. I have a Dell 6000 laptop, 2.0 ghz p-m, 1 gb ram, 100 gb hdd (partitioned into 3 partitions [osx/windows/documents]), x300 @ 128 mb... yeah. Everything works except the resolution is bad (1024x768x32@60), wireless (2200bg, expected) and modem (no use for it anyways...) Any clues how to fix this?
