BuXb
Safari condsiders itself responsible for all my Windows .urls. Firefox Mac will not open them at all. I searched the XT database at Firefox Central but didn't find anything, also searched Google - no success. Does anybody know of a XT that enables Firefox to open .url shortcuts? (not even dragging the .url into Firefox helps). Thanks, Bugs. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/21270-url-opener-xt-for-firefox/ Share on other sites

BuXb
hm, I will check this pref pane out once I set @ my hackintosh again, it's a great tool anyway, but I do not think that that will sove it because FF Mac cannot resolve the .url files at all: - the Icon does not allow dragging .urls into it - dragging an .url into the open FF window doesn't work - right click an .url and choose 'open with FF' doesn't work either FF Mac itself would have to be tought to open .urls, and for that purpose a FF XT would be needed ..
