gedna Posted March 10, 2010 Share Posted March 10, 2010 hi all im running snow on amd and its fine, just wondering for one thing, 32 and 64 bit question, now as far as i know (maybe im wrong, if so tell me) snow boots 32bit kernel, but some apps like iCal can run in 64b simultaneously within 32b apps, but then im in activity monitor, all my processes are just Intel and there are no Intel(64) processes, hmm so it should be some apps running in 64 while other in 32 right? or im missing something here, so in order to get 64bit apps im must boot in 64bit kernel? but thats not making sense since i have red different story. or is it only using Intel? im confused let me know although it runs pretty damn fast now *and yes in system software overview 64bit kernel and extensions are - No Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212696-amd-and-64bit/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
