As I see the main specs are equal to macbook, but i'm not sure that osx installation would be working on this HP Pavilion. I'm not really know that an i3 cpu configuration how much better... Fatshenanigans Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 I have the HP9000 series from 2007 and it's super easy compared to other laptops I've installed to plus it is almost a carbon copy of the MacBook Pro. So if that's your first choice go with it The second one has the i5M and that's not yet supported by OSX. It might be supported in the future though. So if you want a low stress level avoid this one for now. Mushishi Posted March 11, 2010 Share Posted March 11, 2010 Also RadeonHD mobility cards dont work and to make the gfx in number 2 ever worse then the series 5xx0 also have no osx support yet.. The first pick seems to be the best only the wifi card wont work.
