I'm about buying a new computer. You can see my desktops specs in my signiture. Please write your opinion or experiances about the following notebook:

I would like to install osx 10.6 on this too, but does not really know if it will works.

As I see the main specs are equal to macbook, but i'm not sure that osx installation would be working on this HP Pavilion.

 

I'm not really know that an i3 cpu configuration how much better...

 

Please help me if you can. Any comments are wellcome.

One other choice can be Sony Vaio EB1s1e with the following specs:

I have the HP9000 series from 2007 and it's super easy compared to other laptops I've installed to plus it is almost a carbon copy of the MacBook Pro. So if that's your first choice go with it :)

 

The second one has the i5M and that's not yet supported by OSX. It might be supported in the future though. So if you want a low stress level avoid this one for now. :)
