ColdZer0
I've just bought a notebook (Asus EEE PC 1005p) and I want to put snow leopard on it. Does anyone know any features that do not work on osx86 such as resolution or sound? Also who's distro should I go for with snow leopard? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212508-asus-eee-pc-1005p/ Share on other sites
Mushishi
using common sense and google you will find that using: 1: Distros is out... People install retail insted of distros. 2: without looking at what hardware the 1005p have i am guessing it have Atom cpu, 1-2 GB Ram, 120-160GB harddrive, gma950 gfx, realtek 662 audio codec, some wired and wireless network card... but the base of the netbook is the same as the 100000 other netbooks that snow leopard have been installed on. Try to google osx86 10.6 netbook and between the results saying that atom support is gone in 10.6.2 retail kernel you will find a lot of guides on how to install snow on a netbook.
