Do you ever get the feeling that OSX knows that it's running on a PC, and does it's best to mess with you? Lately I've gotten that feeling a lot. Strange things like iTunes telling me about and update, when I agree to the update it launches system update which tells me I have no updates available.. It's been doing that for about a month now, drives me nuts.. Or I'll plug a thumb drive into my USB hub and my mouse will stop working.. Or I'll click a file to drag it somewhere and halfway there it "unclicks" by itself and drops the file (or usually a LARGE group of files) into the totally wrong place.. And lately, for no apparent reason, when I tell the computer to go to sleep, it takes about a minute to actually do that.. I haven't changed ANYTHING that should have caused that.. Yet it keeps doing it.. I think it's messing with me..
