I'm running 10.6.2 on a Dell D630 X3100. Everything is working OK, except the trackpad - which I can live without, I use a Logitech V470.

I keep getting some kext errors during boot - specifically:

Refusing new kext com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Controller, v1.1: already have loaded v2.0

.

org.voodoo.driver.PS2Keyboard - library kext org.voodoo.driver.PS2Controller not found.

There are other, similar console messages that reference the Voodoo PS2Controller.

I have the ApplePS2Controller and the VoodooPS2Controller in my /E/E folder. Logic says to remove the apple kext, but that may cause everything to go belly up.

Suggestions?

Edit: I ran Kextstat - I see the ApplePS2controller, but not the VoodooPS2controller. I'd like some advice before I go messing with my extra's folder.

You are right, remove ApplePS2Controller, then VoodooPS2Controller will be used, it has trackpad support.

Both kexts need AppleACPIPS2Nub, I don't know if it's the same for both, so I would install the one from VoodooPS2 package.
