Nixwiz
Hello Community After reading for Days now on this subject, I just dont now, what to do next Maybe some1 has a hint for me, would be much appreciated I got a Jmicron ESATA PCI Card connected with an extern Samsung 1,5tb disk. The Volumes on this Disk dont show up in Leopard 10.6.2 (System Specs in Signature) On my Mobo i have also an Jmicro 363 sata controller working without problems All intern SATA Disks show up just fine Here are the Infos about this card collected under Win7 using Everest: JMicron JMB36X RAID Controller Treiberdatum 24.03.2006 Treiberversion 1.6.1.0 Treiberanbieter JMicron Technology Corp. MacUser2525
Don't know if you have seen this thread it could be worth a try never worked for me when I tried to get one of them cards working though. I finally went with the card in my signature for e-SATA works well in both 32/64bit mode if that is important to you and will save you a lot of hassle with working out of the box drivers available just download then install for fully working solution. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=186558 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212151-another-disk-not-showing-thread/#findComment-1424923 Share on other sites
Nixwiz
thx MacUser2525 for your replay, I have work myself through this thread with no success The funny thing is, after 2 days work on this (and i had really better things 2 do) I took the disk out, put it on an internal sata port, installed new, and took over all data with migration assistant from my former system I put in a less important disk into the esatabox, and what happened? It shows up^^ Dont understand, how and why, but its there finally, hotplugging seems not yet to work fully ( dont unmounts when unplugging), but that is now an minor issue Might be that I am now on 32bit sys, former sys was 64bit, no idea why, used the same install prozedere Anyhow, for today i´m finished, night is over for me in 4 hours, will have a closer look into it, when i find time again greetz Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/212151-another-disk-not-showing-thread/#findComment-1424944 Share on other sites
