Nickhamm
I was running Mac OS 10.4.4 with the 10.4.5 update and all was fine and dandy. I had accelerated graphics and I could run every app I tried, until I tried Aperture. That required 10.4.6. I decided to DL the latest release of Mac OS with the patches and so I downloaded the generic 10.4.6 install DVD and the 10.7.4 JaS update. I installed it and it ran just fine, until I went to hack back in graphics support. Under 10.4.4 I used the koverg patches, and they worked fine. Under 10.4.7 I was left with random colored polygons (incorrect 3D rendering). I decided to try the 10.4.4 kexts and patch them and the same thing happened. I also tried with the 10.4.5 kexts that I had been using. So, I have a screenshot of what I am left with. Hopefully someone can help me out. My device ID is 5460. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g64/Nham...F2322Medium.jpg
vince29
You might also have to put 10.4.4 OpenGL framework back.
Nickhamm
Where is the OpenGL framework at? Is in it the Extentions folder or is it in the Library folder?
OldSkoolGamer
It's in the library folder. system/library/framework/ to be safe I would copy over both OpenAL & openGL frameworks.
Nickhamm
I copied them over, and it worked! But my system is really unstable now (ie any program that uses Quartz or CI crashes). I tried to install Aperture just to see if with Accelerated Graphics it would work and it still sayd I don't meet the minimum requirements, so I think I am going to reinstall 10.4.4/5 because everything seems to work better on there.
