s.goten Posted February 22, 2010 Share Posted February 22, 2010 i have an HP notebook (model dv5-1172) an my snow 10.6.2 works fine. The only function that won't work is STOP (or hibernation).When I click on STOP my monitor turns off but the leds (on quick launch bar) and the cpu fans remains active. The system seems to be freezed and the only thing that I can do is to force shutdown and restart. Is there a way to make work the hibernation function? the sleepenabler is loaded without problem but the system behavior when I try the STOP is the same with and without that kext.I checked in var/vm/ for sleepimage and I found it (dim. about 4gb) , then the system create his sleepfile without problem. anyone can help me? I use chameleon 2 rc3 with dsdt.aml in Extra. thanks for all and sorry for my bad english ops, only now I realized that I'm in wrong section. I apologize with the staff.
