rastaman3d Posted July 4, 2006 Share Posted July 4, 2006 Hello everbody Finally yesterday night i've installed my OSX86 Jas 10.4.6 + update 10.4.7 I've installed Macvidia drivers Build 2 beta 2 and my GEForce 7800 Go works good at 1900x1200 I've fixed the Multi Core problem disabling it from the kernel and everything seemed great!! After this i've started installing some Apps like Toast, Stuffit and small apps like them and the dark came!!!!! My OSX keep blocking with the coloured loading wheel looping and nothing else. Every time i restart it blocks after a couple of tasks (browsing a disk or something like). If i boot in safe mode with -x everything is ok. What do i have to do? ean Posted August 9, 2006 Share Posted August 9, 2006 you said you have 1900x1200 working??? i have 10.4.3, ati 9800pro and i cant get 1900x1200 for my apple 23" to work. i went into com.apple.Boot.plist and changed the graphics mode to 1900x1200 but nothing shows up on my monitor. when i take the dvi cable from my 17" monitor and plug it back into the video card 1280x1024 resolution shows up and all is fine, but if i go back into the com.apple.Boot.plist the 1900x1200 resolution still shows up but 1280x1024 is what is actually appearing on my monitor. any ideas why it doesnt work why doesnt 1900x1200 work?
