Please help! (Thank you) ;)

I accidentally installed the update to OS X 10.5.7 and now I can't boot!

I had a mostly vanilla installation of OS X 10.5.6 on my Gigabyte MB (see my sig) and wasn't paying attention and allowed the update to 10.5.7 to be installed. How can I recover my machine?

When I try to boot, I get the white screen with the gray apple and an endless spinning gear. I can do an F8 and get to the console. I tried entering mach_kernel and enter, but same results.

Your help with this is REALLY appreciated,

Thank you!
