iatkos 5i freezes on boot

So far, i have used the ddmac program to restore the iatkos 5i image to a hdd and i have installed a boot loader on a thumb drive. When i boot off the thumb drive, i can chose the harddrive and the Darwin loader shows up but my pc freezes immediately afterwards. No kernel panic or anything. The last thing it says every time is dsmos:Starting.... I know my pc freezes because all the fans basically stop right at this point. What am i doing wrong?

 

 

 

 

also my system specs :

 

mobo : Asus p5ql pro

 

cpu : e6320

 

and i have tried turning the acpi 2.0 on and off in bios along with changing my harddrives to achi but i still have the same problem.
