I've tried using the Hazard disc, and I've installed it, but I can't boot because of a kernal panic.

First off, here's my specs:

Processor: Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T6600 @ 2.2 GHz

Motherboard: Manufacturer - Quanta. Model # - 3627. Chipset - Intel GM45/GM47. Southbridge - Intel 82801IM (ICH9-M)

BIOS: Hewlett-Packard vF.31

Memory: 4GB DDR3

Graphics: Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family (All I could find, don't know if that's everything)

Sorry if some of it may be useless info. I'm just putting it all here in case it's all necessary.

Now for my kernel panic errors. I get the best results (OS X almost loading) when I type in: cpus=1 -f -v

If I leave out -f or cpus=1, or change the value of 1, then it goes straight to kernel panic.

The things I installed from Hazard was 10.6.2, Chameleon, GMAX4500 video drivers, and X11. That's all. I did not install the Intel_Atom kernel, the Legacy kernel (For p4), or the mobdin kernel

I have a 70 GB partition for OsX, HFS+.

Here's some pics. (Sorry that I have multiple photos. I don't have a big camera (iphone camera)

I have not been able to find anything about my laptop. Any help at all is very apreciated, or if you have a better method of installing, then please direct me to it.

If you need more pictures, or better pictures, then please ask, I'll be happy to upload them

Search function does not work. And I've tried paging through, but I only see it for dv5, and dv7. And a google search only brings me HP Pavilion Dv6000, not Dv6.

I have the same problem. The search engine don't work.

I want install Sl on my system but I haven't any idea on how to do it

sorry for my english

@SinfulAnimosity

I should be no problem installing Snow with your hardware I have it on almost the same but I will say to you and all of you out there If you for whatever reason do not want to try a vanilla install, there and many ways to do this hazard I have installed and you will not get much of a system from that and when there are updates its back to the drawing board. Snow leopard, even in REAL mac's defaults to 32bit and most kext out there do not work (fewer in 64bit) so using a distro like hazard you will have A LOT of work to get basic thing like sound and still be 32bit. If you do not want to, for whatever reason try a vanilla install I say stick with ideneb, iatkos or one of those it will be easier and you will get a working system much faster if you don't mind a LOT of work and many, many reinstalls look for empire EFI or something to boot a retail disk. I am not trying to discourage anyone from working on Snow leo but you would have to do most of the work your self and if you are looking for a pre-packaged distro like hazard you may just be a little disillusioned of what you get if and when it does install. I am not trying to be a :( but I help people all the time and many of them are disappointed when they put in all this work and cannot even get basic things like sound

Ah excellent! I have access to a retail disc, so I'll go try and get the EFI. Thanks a ton.
