Hey everyone,

I've looked through the wiki's and it appears as though my AMD Phenom processor will work with Snow Leopard 10.6, and my video card should in theory (it's an ATI Radeon X1950 and it works on OSX Leopard 10.5)

However, it's my motherboard that I am not too sure about.. I can't find any posts in regards to it on OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard. I did find this http://puru.se/ but it doesn't have my motherboard listed in there.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte S-series GA-MA78GM-S2H.

Has anybody had any success with this motherboard? Or know of a way to get Snow Leopard up and running with this hardware?

Thanks!

sorry to say but no one cares  whole hack-mac community is dead now. look. no new distros. if you have intel your quite ok. if you have AMD your done. kernel is far far from like we have in 10.5 (and even in 10.5 kernels like voodoo is running far far from vanilla kernels on intel) so sorry to say, it only my opinion community is dead, no one gives a {censored} is it gonna work on your system or not :( thats why you dont get any answers,

btw i have a solution for you :(

UBUNTU :( try it, you will love it

have a nice day

Hmmm, alright. Not quite the answer I was looking for, heheh.. I just assumed I could get my AMD system running on 10.6... Maybe I will make the switch to Intel one day. And go with the LifeHacker guide:

I'll post another thread about that one. Thanks for taking the time to reply
