M16mKies Posted January 27, 2010 Share Posted January 27, 2010 Hey, I've just wasted THIRD DL DVD, another failure during Snow Leopard Retail DVD burning. I'm already out of them, so I need another method. So yes, there are some that require 8GB usb stick. I don't have one, but what I DO have is an 8GB iPod Nano -so the first question is: can I use iPod Nano for Snow Leo installation? If the answer is positive, then here's the second question: -can I perform the installation without having any OS X at my disposal? So far I planned to use this great Empire EFI thing, which sounds great for my rig (at least I think so). What I've got is: Asus P5K Pro (ICH9R, P35) Core 2 Duo E6300 Radeon HD 3850 Some OCZ platinums, 2 gigs 800mhz Linksys WMP54G So, I could really use some help here. I've been trying to get Snow Leo working for MONTHS now, and still no success... Please.
