Hey, I wonder if there's any way to get sound working after 10.6.3 update without having to use additional kexts.

Master Chief's P5K PRO ACPI Warfare

Quick question: can I use DSDT from this post in 10.5 Leopard? Or is it specific for 10.6 Snow Leopard?
  5. Hey, on my 10.6.2 retail vanilla system, I lately experienced some graphic issues. Everything was ok before, it just started few days ago. Newly added widgets are always corrupted, entering&exiting its settings pane solves it, but time machine is unusable, as you can see on screens above. Same thing happens seldom in random OS parts. I use the drivers from "The 9500GT thread", and that's NVEnabler 64.kext and some other kexts located at S/L/E. There's no way I could re-install the OS, so I need your help please. Screenshots attached. Thanks in advance!
  6. Hi! I have managed to install iAtkos v7 (10.5) without problems; it was installed on 1st 30gb partition named Macintosh HD. I have a second partition - called Data, and it's 200gb in size. I wanted to upgrade my 10.5.8 do 10.6, but I didn't have a USB stick, CD preboot method didn't work, however I had an original retail snow leo disc. What I did was installing Snow Leo to partition called "Data", I also installed chameleon bootloader on this partition, added necessary kexts and dsdt.aml, rebooted with fingers crossed, and... it worked FLAWLESSLY! But now I need to get rid of my Macintosh HD partition (the one with 10.5). But I don't really know how - it seems that my PC boots from this partition (because i installed cham RC3 on Data partition, and had RC4 on Macintosh HD and it seems that RC4 is booting). So I want to merge these two partitions. But I need to keep the bootloader, since there's no way of reinstalling chameleon if it fails. Any suggestions? p.s. sorry if my post seems chaotic, but it's a bit complicated and i couldn't think of easier way of writing this. thanks in advance!
  7. You sure that it's the WMP54G's fault? If yes, then we have a serious {censored}storm here.

    Advice needed on installation.

Please, really I need help with this. It's been too long, too many tries...
  9. Hey, I've just wasted THIRD DL DVD, another failure during Snow Leopard Retail DVD burning. I'm already out of them, so I need another method. So yes, there are some that require 8GB usb stick. I don't have one, but what I DO have is an 8GB iPod Nano -so the first question is: can I use iPod Nano for Snow Leo installation? If the answer is positive, then here's the second question: -can I perform the installation without having any OS X at my disposal? So far I planned to use this great Empire EFI thing, which sounds great for my rig (at least I think so). What I've got is: Asus P5K Pro (ICH9R, P35) Core 2 Duo E6300 Radeon HD 3850 Some OCZ platinums, 2 gigs 800mhz Linksys WMP54G So, I could really use some help here. I've been trying to get Snow Leo working for MONTHS now, and still no success... Please.

  13. Gentlemen, I've finally managed to get Leo working on my PC. Here are the specs: Asus P5K Pro Powercolor ATi Radeon X1950 Pro 512mb 2GB DDR2 - OCZ Platinum SATA HDD, 250GB IDE DVD Drive I've used an iPC 10.5.6 distro. So, everything's fine, except... this thing runs slow like hell. Seems that no hardware acceleration was detected since I can't even run Aperture. I can't even run my pointer smoothly... So, please, is there any way to fix this?

    iATKOS 5i 10.5.5 Intel DVD

I could use some help here. Honestly, I have NO idea what's this all about. I mean, all these kernels and stuff, I've read some articles about this, but still, I just don't get it... So, may I ask for help - what to choose during installation? My system: Asus P5K Pro Core2Duo E6300 2GB OCZ Platinum DDR2 Powercolor ATI Radeon X1950 Pro 512mb Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic IDE/ATA DVD Drive SATA HDD I've also bought original retail Leopard, just to be fair with Apple, though I can't even imagine how hard it must be to run the regular retail dvd on x86/64 PC. I really hope to get some help here, please. Warm regards.

    iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 Released!

@shamual: I think it's fault of the DVD drive which is IDE. But I can't be sure, since noone replied on any of my two posts asking if this thing would work on IDE DVD Drives... :/
