meemmO
I want to install snow leopard on my windows 7 operating system, though after looking around the forum, a couple of other websites and the wiki page. I still dont have a clear understanding of what i have to do or what hardware is suitable. So i decided to ask for help, i downloaded CPU-Z and saved a log, hopefully one of you guys/girls can tell me if i have the correct hardware for the project PC.txt Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209215-could-some-one-help-me-install-snow-leopard/ Share on other sites
pir8erxxl
As you've got AMD quatte core CPU, you shall be able to get SL running by using the patched AMD kernel for SL (pls search the forum for it) Then get Boot1-2-3, follow a standard How2/Guid, everything will be easy, as long as your Graphic Card is supported by SL. jannes3000
Thanks for the reply, so theres a chance my graphics card wont be supported ? Use EFIStudio download mediafire and the plist-file I attached (GeForce9500GT.plist) ... once u have ur SL-system running open EFI Studio, Click on "Add Device", replace the Hex-String with the Hex String of my plist-file (open in Textedit, Copy & Paste). Finally click "write to com.apple.Boot.plist" and ure done ... if my plist doesn't work with your 9500GT (idk why it shouldn't) , try the 8500GT out of the presets. Cheers /J GeForce9500GT.plist.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209215-could-some-one-help-me-install-snow-leopard/#findComment-1397739 Share on other sites
