delphinus87
I recently updated my Dell XPS 420 to the newest release of myHack installer, RC5. This fixed a few things. First, sleep finally works (hurray!) and my internal sound chip partially works. I say partially because, while it works fine at first, after sleep there's almost no sound at all. It's inaudible and choppy. The thing is, when my CPU is working overdrive, it almost sounds fine. I confirmed this by listening to a full album while converting a 1 hour .mkv to a .mp4 in Handbrake (384% according to Activity Monitor). Is this normal behavior for some components after patching? I am running the VoodooHDA.kext from the latest version of myHack. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/209175-is-this-normal/ Share on other sites
