Hi,

I've been trying to install osx on my pc for several days now. Would really like some help.

When booting into verbose mode it hangs on this line:

Jan 25 22:30:26 localhost /System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app/Contents/MacOS/loginwindow[30]: Login Window Application Started -- Threaded auth

I have no idea why. On previous occasions I have noticed this:

display: stalling for module
Matching service count = 1

This is when I booted after installing osx with either NVInject, NVKush or NVDarwin. Booting in safemode, -x does not work either have no clue. My most recent install included the DSDT patcher, don't know if that is required.

I have a Pentium 4 with a Geforce2. Since the installer boots up I have high hopes that it is possible to configure the right kexts to actually boot up from the hard drive. Also, could not find any info on a kext/driver for Geforce2, this could be a possible problem but the installer still works with it.

I'm using the XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final here's some info:

Torrent: google "XxX_x86_10.5.6_Install_Disc_Universal_Final" and its the piratebay link

PLEASE HELP! I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR DAYS!!! It would be greatly appreciated. Please post any ideas or successful install configurations for any system would be helpful.

Attached are my detailed hardware specs, installer log and boot log.

- Thanks,

To be honest I don't know if my video card is the problem it could very well be another kext I am missing thats why I posted in the install section because I really don't know. Sure, I put emphasis on the vid card but it may not be the issue. The installer boots fine and the System Profiler recognizes my vid card but it won't boot in safe mode or with -f. Read my post more carefully.

Coolcatco888, your hardware is ancient, and problems are to be expected, I'd imagine.

When I started seriously with this project, in 2006, I built a box made of bleeding edge, most compatible components

(I have built 3 more ever since).
