Krayne
I have a MacBook with snow leopard and windows xp installed. Currently, whenever I turn the computer on it goes straight to Windows. I have to hold option when starting the computer and selecting the MAC OS manually to get it to boot. Does anyone know what I have to do in order to get the MAC OS to boot automatically when I start up my computer? Thanks, and sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. Upfaze
Oh, that's easy Go to System Preferences, click on Startup Disk, and select the partition where Mac OS is installed. Under Windows, you select the Bootcamp icon in the system tray, select Boot Camp Preferences, and click on your startup disk and hit "Apply". maddogmark100
To set the default operating system in Mac OS X: 1 In Mac OS X, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Startup Disk. 2 Select the startup disk with the operating system you want to use by default. 3 If you want to start up that operating system now, click Restart.
