applehacker
Solved issues 1 and 4, what does the arch=x86 flag do? My computer can run x64, should i change to X64 or X86_64? Beerkex'd
You shouldn't have to. You can run 64-bit apps just fine already. But read this and decide for yourself: http://www.osxbook.com/blog/2009/08/31/is-...ow-leopard-k64/ BTW if you're using the Chameleon 2 bootloader the correct kernel flag to use for 32-bit kernel and drivers mode is arch=i386 and for 64-bit kernel and drivers it's arch=i386_x64. applehacker
well i booted verbose, and the first thing it said was 64 bit enabled, so i assume its running 64 bit. Beerkex'd
It does that when running with 32-bit kernel and drivers as well. Even 10.5.x shows that message. Beerkex'd
Your choppy audio could be caused by IRQ conflicts, I've had this problem myself. I fixed it by following the advice given by THe KiNG in this thread: projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=564 Don't copy/paste his code into your DSDT - compare your code to his before/after examples and make the required edits by hand. copy/pasting code from others can cause annoying compiling errors that can be hard to track down. Use DSDTSE by EvOSX (google it) to edit and compile/decompile your DSDT.
