snoopamk
Has anyone installed this week's Security Update (2010-001) on a Lifehacker Hackintosh install? ye I've installed kernel panics I've had several not previously had, especially when changing the volume (VoodooHDA) of entry into system preferences and one to set a screen, several closures of finder and crash with Flash player Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/208547-security-update-2010-001-on-lifehacker-hackintosh/#findComment-1393491 Share on other sites

breakingbad
not a problem so far Well, I guess I´m having trouble after this update. Yesterday my Magic Mouse and Wireless keyboard arrived. Installed and paired everything was working fine. As a update for Magic Mouse was available, I went to software update and there was the new security update and I installed it. Since then my system is having problems. I can´t start my system using any kinda of flags and when starts i have KP´s like: CoreRAIDServer - lsregister - repair_packages - Skype... I don´t know what to do to solve this. Does anybody have ideas? Cheers. bb. Thelgord
What kinda of kernel panics? I really don't wan't to install anything that can kill my system. I finally got it working good. Is it just issues with magic mouse and some other minor issues? or something that will trash the system? [EDIT] Seems to have installed fine. Will report any abnormal issues. breakingbad
sure am glad i read this before i installed it. i think i'll wait, i'm pretty much new to this, so i aint messin with mine. Well, it's just a guess, but this issue may just affect people using Bluetooth appliances since this Update changes somethings in Bluetooth kexts. I'm considering that most of the people that are updating are not using any kinda bluetooth hardware. Tell me if I'm guessing wrong. Cheers, bb.
