1. Asus maximus IV Gene-Z Hackintosh

Hey guys, I did the same thing here, installed 10.7.2, and used ##### to get everything running. Everything works except sleep, so I followed this guide to make my own DSDT: http://tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=35559 After I created this DSDT I deleted: EvOreboot.kext, and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, then put the DSDT in my Extra Folder. The next time I tried to boot I got a KP right away on boot, from AppleCPUPowermanagement. If I flash my bios with the bios posted in the first post will sleep/shutdown, etc work? Do I have to use the DSDT posted in the first post also, or can I use the one I made? Or Is there another way to get sleep without flashing the bios? I currently have these kext's installed: FakeSMC.kext, LegacyAppleRTC.kext, EvOreboot.kext, JMicron36xATA.kext, AHCI_3rdParty_SATA.kext, NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext
2. ati mobility radeon 5650

Any news on getting the .kext to output to our displays, instead of using display port? I'm willing to help if someone can explain how I edit these files?
3. ati mobility radeon 5650

you can install OSX on a ati card, but it will be stuck with 1024x768
4. ati mobility radeon 5650

what exactly is different from the desktop cards, to the laptop cards? Is it just the display port that is holding us back?
5. ati mobility radeon 5650

i think people tried that, the mobility cards use a different display port or something, so it wont work.
6. ati mobility radeon 5650

same here, I love OSX, but can't deal with 1024x768 and no QE
7. How well does an HP Envy 14 Run 10.6?

get something with nvidia graphics, ATI mobility cards wont work.
8. Mac os x on dell inspirion n5010

your cpu should work, what video card? I've tried with intel hd graphics and ati mobility graphics and it wont work, only nvidia works.
9. ATI Mobilty Radeon HD 560v

my laptop has the ati mobility 5470, from what I've read, no ati Mobility cards work under OSX. Only ATi desktop cards work, and Nvidia desktop and mobile cards work.
10. Ati mobility 5470 working in screen sharing

my laptop also has the 5470, but when I tried to updated to 10.6.4 i get a kernel panic at the end of the install. so once I restart it gets stuck at the grey apple screen
11. Intel HD Graphics / GMA 5700

hopefully we get the Intel HD working! My laptop only have Intel HD, I don't have switchable graphics
12. hmm, I installed it by first installing OSX using #####, then I ran the 10.6.2 installer, then restarted using ##### as the boot cd again.
13. yup i3 350m isn't supported, but it did boot and work with #####. What kext's need to go into the extra folder to boot? I'll give it another go and make sure to stop at 10.6.2
14. same here, I used ##### and I can install, but when I run ##### and restart, it wont boot. The only way it boots is with the ##### cd. Also when I run 10.6.3 it gets about 75% installed then kernel panic. Once that happens even ##### can't get it to boot. (10.6.2 installed it would still boot with #####) i3 350, intel HD graphics acer 5741 laptop
15. 10.6.3

using Chameleon RC3, here is what I got in extra: AD1988b.Fix.kext disabler.kext fakesmc.kext IONetworkingFamily.kext jMicronATA.kext OpenHaltRestart.kext SleepEnabler.kext what here do I need, and what can I remove? Am I safe to update to RC4? I heard there was issue's with UUID, if I update will my UUID change?
