elinor BURKETT Posted January 22, 2010 Share Posted January 22, 2010 The icons on the upper right hand corner of my laptop - the ones that tell me if my airport is working, that allow me to open network preferences, that tell me if my battery is charging and tell me what time it is - have disappeared. When and how? Well, I was trying to shut down my computer and it refused to move. So I forced it to shut down with the power button, and when it came back on, these things were simply not there.
