BFG 8800GT on 10.6.2

Dear experienced users!

 

I am very new to hackintosh world and will be making my first soon (when all the parts arrive)

 

I've bought:

 

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3LR

Intel Core 2 Quad 2.5

4GB Ram

BFG 8800GT OC2 512

500 Sata HDD

 

Please tell me which version of OSX should I be installing? Ive recently bought fresh Snow leopard install DVD, but I've read some topics which suggest issues on 10.6.2.... (

 

The question is how can I upgrade to 10.6.1?

 

And I also dont know a lot about kexts and EFI strings etc...

 

Please, any advice appreciated.

 

P.S. I will be using FCP2, mainly FCP and Motion.
