Eos9
Unfortunately while still getting used to my first Apple Mac I somehow managed to send a folder containing many photographs into the trash bin. Not realising my mistake at the time I then emptied the trash bin and therefore deleted photographs that I wanted to keep. Having only just bought the Mac I had not set up anything to safeguard against this kind of mistake. I have searched for the lost photos to no avail so can I now assume that these photographs are permanently lost and short of taking the machine to a 'specialist in recovering lost data' cannot be found. khglynn
When I first Paritioned my harddrive to prepare for OSX i cleared just enough space, so I had 300 gigs full of stuff, but then after the partition that space had cleared to 160 gig. I have no idea what's gone. I think it depends on how you partition
